Amsterdam needs a #Tech4Good community meetup and I think it’s gonna get one!
While I was in Amsterdam for a family birthday party I collaborated with Taco Potze of OpenSocial to host a gathering of people interested in starting a NetSquared group in the Netherlands. We discovered that there’s a hunger for a group because almost 20 people joined the meeting, which is HUGE for a planning session.
I talked about NetSquared, Taco shared how he’s creating an open source community platform with OpenSocial, and we learned from attendees about what’s already happening in the #Tech4Good space in the Netherlands.
At the end of the meeting three people volunteered to co-host NetSquared Amsterdam and I’ll be working with the new team to launch NetSquared Amsterdam this fall!
